Sandtown-Winchester Achievement Academy
In 2019 the School Board voted to close Gilmor Elementary School to create one combined Elementary/Middle School with WIlliam Pinderhughes. That same year, Under Armour and Heart of America selected Sandtown-Winchester Achievement Academy (SWAA) for a major building makeover.
