William Fleming
I have had a passion for learning as far as I can recall. I moved to Baltimore in 2017 with the intention to study Elementary Education at the graduate level, and teach in Baltimore City schools. I have since met many great people doing good work across the district.
SY 2020-21, I will be teaching Grade 2 at Sandtown-Winchester Achievement Academy, and pushing each student to achieve their absolute best.
Understanding the role of education within a culture
I am pictured here with quite a formidable woman who owned and operated the preschool where I was introduced to school as an institution. Mrs. Woods helped to ignite a passion for learning in me that only continues to blaze. She also helped to develop my literacy skills, such that, I am unaware of a period where I could not read or decode even the simplest words. On a personal note, it was at her school where I socialzed with a handful of friends that I am still in contact with today.
